    The Department of Health and Social Care issued a statement, on the introduction of mandatory requirements for the wearing of face masks in shops and shopping centres. The requirement to wear face masks in shops comes into effect TODAY 24th July. The requirement to wear face masks on public transport has been in force for some time, as well as shops and supermarkets, face coverings must be worn in banks, building societies and post offices
