Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Surgery has remained open and provided additional capacity to our Patients through new digital consulting solutions.

We also opened over the Bank Holiday Weekends.

We are now starting to reflect on the past 8 months and wanted to share some information with our Patients. Data has been gathered between March 1st to October 16th 2020 for 4038 Patients registered with Roe Lane Surgery.

Update Your Details

It is important that we always have your up to date contact details.  If you are referred by the GP and your home address details are incorrect, your appointment details will be sent to the wrong address which will result in a delay before you are seen.  Sometimes our receptionists may have to contact you regarding an appointment or reviews.  It is therefore important to always keep us updated with your present telephone number for these reasons.

It is preferable for you to update any of your contact details by completing a short form in the surgery, but we will accept a change of telephone number over the telephone.

If patients do not update the surgery with a change of address, we may presume that you have moved out of the area, in which case the Health Authority may remove you from our GPs list which will result in you not being registered with a doctor.  If you move outside the practice area you will have to register with another practice in your new area. You can always check to see as to whether you reside within or out of the Roe Lane Practice Boundary by checking with the postcode finder.

For change of name, we would require proof, for example a marriage certificate.

For change of address, we would require proof, for example a utility bill or your drivers licence.

For change of address of a child, it is important that proof is seen for both Parent/Guardian and Child.
