Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Surgery has remained open and provided additional capacity to our Patients through new digital consulting solutions.

We also opened over the Bank Holiday Weekends.

We are now starting to reflect on the past 8 months and wanted to share some information with our Patients. Data has been gathered between March 1st to October 16th 2020 for 4038 Patients registered with Roe Lane Surgery.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients may order repeat prescriptions directly with Roe Lane Surgery online, in writing, by email:  and by fax: 01704 506 878.

Patients may now order repeat prescriptions ONLINE once you have selected a provider from the services detailed via the Patient Online Services PAGE

** Please note patients will need to register for this service before it can be used for the first time by contacting reception in person to obtain their initial login details**

Patients may also continue to order repeat prescriptions in writing by ticking the items required on right hand side of your repeat prescription & passing this request into reception.  Alternatively if you do not have the right hand side of your prescription please write your full name, date of birth and the items you require on a piece of paper and hand this into reception.

Roe Lane Surgery does not take repeat prescription requests by telephone under any circumstances.

Roe Lane Surgery is now live with Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) which means when you order a prescription and it is authorised by the doctor, it will be sent electronically to your pharmacy of choice and you will not need to pick it up from Roe Lane Surgery.  If you would like to register for this service please contact reception of your pharmacy of choice.

48 hours are required for repeat prescriptions Monday to Friday.  For example if you ordered your repeat prescription on a Monday morning it will not be ready for collection until the Wednesday morning.  If however you order your prescription on a Friday morning this will not be ready for collection until the Tuesday morning, as the surgery is closed at weekends.

During bank holiday periods the turn-around time for repeat prescriptions will increase, therefore during bank holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter please ensure you order your medication in good time so that you have enough medication during the bank holiday periods.
