As of the 1st of April, Dr Adele Farrell is GP Partner of Roe Lane Surgery following the retirement of Dr Alison Trevor. As a result of this, we are pleased to announce a merger of Christiana Hartley Medical Practice and Roe Lane Surgery.

We would like to reassure patients that you will still be able to access services, staff and clinics in the same way that you have become accustomed to in recent years. We will provide services across both sites and Roe Lane Surgery remains open and operational, however for face to face appointments with a GP or Nurse, you may be asked to attend Christiana Hartley Medical Practice on Curzon Road, which is a purpose built GP surgery approximately one and a half miles away.

With a greater number of staff including GPs, nurses, medicines management team and administrative staff, we will continue to provide patients with outstanding primary care services.

We are most grateful of your cooperation and support during the first few weeks of the merge as we attempt to make the transition as seamless as possible, please click here for further information.

****For Roe Lane Surgery Patients who use Online Access, this service will not be available from Thursday the 15th of April at 12noon through to Tuesday the 20th of April. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. For further information please telephone the Surgery to speak to a member of our team****

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients may order repeat prescriptions directly with Roe Lane Surgery online, in writing, by email:  and by fax: 01704 506 878.

Patients may now order repeat prescriptions ONLINE once you have selected a provider from the services detailed via the Patient Online Services PAGE

** Please note patients will need to register for this service before it can be used for the first time by contacting reception in person to obtain their initial login details**

Patients may also continue to order repeat prescriptions in writing by ticking the items required on right hand side of your repeat prescription & passing this request into reception.  Alternatively if you do not have the right hand side of your prescription please write your full name, date of birth and the items you require on a piece of paper and hand this into reception.

Roe Lane Surgery does not take repeat prescription requests by telephone under any circumstances.

Roe Lane Surgery is now live with Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) which means when you order a prescription and it is authorised by the doctor, it will be sent electronically to your pharmacy of choice and you will not need to pick it up from Roe Lane Surgery.  If you would like to register for this service please contact reception of your pharmacy of choice.

48 hours are required for repeat prescriptions Monday to Friday.  For example if you ordered your repeat prescription on a Monday morning it will not be ready for collection until the Wednesday morning.  If however you order your prescription on a Friday morning this will not be ready for collection until the Tuesday morning, as the surgery is closed at weekends.

During bank holiday periods the turn-around time for repeat prescriptions will increase, therefore during bank holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter please ensure you order your medication in good time so that you have enough medication during the bank holiday periods.
