A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems.
If you are a carer, please complete the following form by clicking here for further information, this completed form can then be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or brought to Christiana Hartley Medical Practice and you will then be referred into the Carers Trust if you wish.
Sefton Carers Centre also have a range of activities available to carers of different ages and these are available online or face to face, please take a look here for the latest courses being offered or visit the Carers Trust Website.
Carers do not always have the availability to access the groups due to the stress and time constraints of their caring role, therefore the Carers Trust try to be accessible as possible. The intention is through various holistic activities they are given the much needed break they require which in turn will empower them in their caring role.
Please note all sessions are free of charge to Sefton unpaid Carers.
The only requirement is that you must register onto the project.
Sefton Carers Centre also hold regular Parent Carer coffee mornings, please see attached which details the next opportunity to join professionals and parent carers.
